Iiris leaves the nest in a hurry to chase away an intruder; moments later both birds clash in the sky (Iiris, presumably, is above)

Interesting little event ....UX makes clear that this is an exclusive fish,
It was very interesting, indeed. UX pecked Iiris a few times, also repeatedly at 12:12, immediately after the delivery of the fish. And then again at 12:18.

The osprets have grown in the meanwhile

Liz, thank you for the video.
Iiris made it absolutely clear to the intruder to stay away from her chicks.

Jenny, Sunshine

Iiris fed UW at first, at 15:20 she took off and UW had the fish all by herself.

15:33 UX airborne again!
16:38 Iiris brings #4 fish with head - the leftovers have been too little for her! UX is the first one to be fed.
17:21 UX swallowed the fish tail with difficulties and made a PS right after it - what goes in must come out! Jenny, the direction was according to your instructions.
17:25 UX thoroughly cleans the beak!

Liz, thank you for the video. :D

UW is walking around and finding some leftover morsels here and there. Better these tiny old pieces than nothing at all.

17:46 Ivo in with #5 fish but as nobody was really interested, Iiris took away with it to the woods.

Did Iiris injure the other bird when chasing it? Or maybe it is from a fish?

I guess we all feel lucky to be able to watch our two young Ospreys again. They have learned so much from their mother and Ivo, and they implement it. Small branches are processed to fix the edge of the nest. Mama still feeds them, but they can also chop a fish independently. Their plumage is amazing, especially when they trie to fly and the wings are beautiful and perfectly shaped. When they have their load of fish in their stomachs, they lie together, sometimes head to head. In the meantime, a small garden has been growing on the edge of the nest and nibbling on it is fun. I just can't get enough watching them.

Where is the supper fish?

Please, don't exercise your wings so close to the nest rim.
