An interesting fact: today Iiris flew out of the nest twice, in which there was a fish's tail, and returned 2 minutes ago, and she took the fish with her. She then ate the fish on the nest instead of on the tree as usual.
Most likely, she does this for safety reasons - so as not to attract other birds to the nest and not to teach them that there is food in the nest unattended. Very wise.

And second: most likely Iiris did this, because Ivo was not around and he could not replace her.

The tail of the fish remained where Iiris put it yesterday. This time she flew away without him.
