I am not sure about osprey, but I have seen juvenile bald eagles do that when they are hungry.alice44 wrote: ---
I guess my question is -- do all Ospreys nip at each other's feet and legs or is this something that Elo does?

I will check my old posts, but I think I saw Elo reach out and nip Nori's foot. I did not get an image because I was so surprised all I could do was look.
It was definitely not an accident, but it also did not seem to be a hard bite.
Nancy when I saw the little nip -- Elo was hungry.
And as Ikat suggested it maybe a habit they learn to avoid after the first scratch.

Nori licked raindrops, she havent got fish so she needs to lick waterdrops from the sky..And off she went , demanding yells.. the next pic here says alot ..little Nori

I know that she don't do for fun but it sounds nice.
And finally in 3 days my video has one thousand viewers.
I am overwhelmed and I am very pleased that it's called by so many.
Big thanks to your all.

Nori arrived -- she seems to be surprised the fish has not arrived.
