6:00 Piret comes down - feeds the fish - and Elo gets most of the bites

6:14 Piret goes up to the cam support

good morning everyone!

Here Nori can eat "undisturbed" while her siblings were sleeping

Image

then Elo get up and Nori as usual submits.. She hide her head (I think to avoid any conflicts)

...goodnight poor little thing

Thanks for the info. :2thumbsup:

According to Finnish Wikipedia a male osprey weight about 1,5 kg and female osprey about 2,00 kg. Those chicks weight a lot. Perhaps Elo and Uno are females (Elo at least) and Nori male... (Just guessing). :puzzled: :book: Or maybe Nori is just the lightest because she/he is the youngest.

Thanks you so much all for all the morning news, pictures and videos to Nancy, Starling, Macko and Priscillash :2thumbsup:

Nice to see that the parents are around again, although Piret still seemed very attentive.
The video of the chicks trying to eat on their own is absolutely worth seing. Chicks now are on their way to be able to help themselves concerning eating - in fact Elo is very clever.

Thanks again for this - nice to open and see the news and see at cam. that the chicks are wellfeeded after the event of yesterday

Have a nice day at cam.

Please Maniano, don´t risk your job!

10.31 I hadn´t closed computer yet when I heard sounds and then saw Madis arrive with the fish - but hadn´t time for watching closely

but have just look in the Punto Archive, perhaps it is a help

pity I didn't get a good look at the end of the fish due to movement in office. But when I saw the fish, it was long and it looked like a wels catfish. Unfortunately I won't be around for the next week to help with fish ID.

no worries, won't get fired for it :) no dorsal fin visible, long dark body - wels catfish
