this is Ilmar's nest, not Madis's nest. It is the second nest equipped with webcam this year

Maybe she does not do nestorations yet because she is not sure Piret is gone? She would not like to fix the nest only to have her work go to another. :puzzled:

is not piret, it's ilmar, marked with U6 black ring and a transimetter on his back

No, she is not!
This bird is male and his name is Ilmar, has other numbers on his ring, but a transmitter, too!!!

I couldn't read the ring but it looked to be a darker bird than Piret, likely the nest owner! Sorry everyone, good watching though! Keep looking!

It's possible.
I remember last year when Piret be wear the transmitter when she came to nest that Nori peck her like didn't know Piret is mom.
