Hmm, yes, Irma must be able to fish herself  Still, I think the nature has programmed it this way - as long as she is home on the nest and Ivo is around, he is the fisherman 8-)

18:54 Irma is back on the cam. The osprey is still sitting in the pine tree.

August 25, 2018 6.55 PM

I have been watching Irma for some time now. She came to the nest screaming for Ivo, apparently hungry - no Ivo in sight. So next step up to the cam and the screaming goes on. Departure after no one appeared to still her hunger.
6.35 PM Irma back to the nest, again screaming, up to the cam, no Ivo in sight. Back to the nest, yelling, she was spreading her wings (maybe danger in sight), she stretched her head, checked every movement in the air and after 20 minutes of desperate screaming she took off again.
Lord, if my stomach growls, I'll get something for myself.
Uijuijui she is back again up on the cam 6.56 PM

Heli was startled by Irma's screaming and came to the nest, hoping to find a piece of fish somewhere - not even a small piece in the nest. Irma left and now another screaming sound from Heli. Where the hell is Ivo?

Maybe Ivo thinks: "What are you still doing here? You can go, the wintering grounds are waiting. I have everything under control here, no problem."

I am ready for a farewell video compilation, too! :D

I hope, that he can rid himself from this thing.
Urmas. Thank you for your informations.
The following French site at the river Loire shows which talon/talons eagles are using when in action of fishing and bringing the fish
