Finally, poor and hungry Jaak got his fish. It looked like Ivo was sitting on the top from the dead tree with the fish for some minutes. Then he brought him to his soon.

Jaak looked still a bit around and meant it is better to eat his meal on an other place.

This was a nice episode. Kaja was very busy with her souvenir. When Heli arrived both siblings were playing with this magnificent toy.
The interaction between them was nice to watch.

mogga, I just wanted to ask you to make a video of this episode! Thanks a lot! It was such a lovely,special and interesting episode to watch. Especially from 25:32:50 to ~ 25:35 when both Heli and Kaja were playing with the cone. Didn't see something like this for a long time, ospreys involving in such a "play", both taking turns to take the cone.

Good Morning,
the weather does not look the best, it looks like it's going to rain and it's windy. Unfortunately, I did not see who padded the nest so well. I hope no delivered fish from Ivo will disappear underneath.

6:47 Jaak took the Kaja's cone and flew off with it

7:27 Ivo brought a big still alive fish for for Kaja

8:26 Ivo brought a big bunch of straw , Kaja is still eating
8:40 Kaja is finally full, she left a small fish tail and flew away, Irma immediately jumped from the cam stand and took it, 8:42 she swallowed the last piece
8:48 Irma cleaned the nest, did some nestwork and jumped to the cam stand

9:39 Ivo brought a small still alive and jumping fish for Heli
9:48 Heli flew away with her halfeaten fish

10:24 Since 10:13 Irma is on the nest and calling for the fish

Kaja was the first one to land. And it was again interesting to watch how she was occupied with the cone.



The most interesting part - she was actually handling it with her claws bended to the inside, very carefully, as if the cone were an egg.. Could it be that some very vague instinct of caring for an egg takes over when she looks at the cone? Just a theory

At 05:14:52 to ~ 05:16 a very strange call, probably osprey (?), but a strange mixture between quacking and whistling.. Seemed like an alarm signal.
