with this picture from yesterday,
showing the emaciated, from continously devoted caring haggared IVO,
i say good bye to this wonderful season

I'm glad Ivo can have a recovery-rest now before his migration.

I wish our amazing Osprey family a safety journey, whereever they will fly to,
our characters MART, PILVI and NELE always finding good places and having a full crop,
and our precious young mother IiRIS and our extraordinary fisherman and wise father IVO coming back and meeting again next year.

To all of you a BIG thank you for a beautiful great season :2thumbsup:
Loved being with all of you, sharing our observations also with the faithful silent readers

Greetings to you all

 _Olga, they all leave by themselves. They do not start migration together and do not travel in pairs/with parents; they go all the way on their own.

... which makes their wonderful sense of destination and "inner compass"/ "GPS map" even more amazing.

Hello! It is sad to part with our beloved Ivo family. But the season was successful and very good.
Yesterday I made a video about how Ivo was left with 2 daughters. Not all of the delivery of fish was able to record, but so much happened in 2 weeks. A comic book for Iris!
Like all of you, I hope to see her and Ivo next year.

Thanks for that because Iiris deserves it very much.

I am very cautious in my hope to see Ivo again next spring. The last months have obviously taken him with them. His empty harvest was often to be seen in the last weeks .... . Ivo is the only osprey male I have seen more than one season, but my feeling tells me that he must be something special. I would have liked to say goodbye to him a bit *fresh* ... but I give him all my good wishes and hopes for the journey.
That's all we can do.

It was a hard and tragic year. Not only in Estonia and Latvia.
These 3 healthy ospreys in this nest from Iiris & Ivo are a rich gift!

May happiness never be lost under their wings!

I've taken more than 20 screenshots. I tried but didn't get a decent photo. :slap:

Maybe someone can help?
It's really cute to look at. And to hear! (Video would also be good.)
