It looks like, that the first egg got lost. Now we wait for the chicks of egg 2 and egg 3.
Hi IceAge, it's almost impossible to be sure which egg was destroyed. Today would have been day 39 of egg # 1, still within the 34-40 days incubation time range.

16:10. Marko brought for Miina lovely headless fish. Miina quickly took the fish, and Marko immediately flew away. Miina eats it in the nest. Maybe she hears the chick's squeak and doesn't want to miss the moment of hatching (like us). She eats in the nest and chirps, as if offering food to the chick. 8-) Or me seems?

16:34. Marko flew in with the intention of taking the fish tail. He tried very hard and he succeeded. But I laughed until my stomach hurt. Miina remained unperturbed. :rotf:

16:47. Marko returned the rest of the fish tail. Miina immediately started eating it. The chick in the egg is protesting loudly!
I get the impression that Miina is feeding the egg. Soon Miina covered the eggs.

This behavior of Miina is interesting. What does that say? Miina too young? :puzzled:
