Looduskalender

This topic is for occasional use when there is a change to the layout or function of the forum or if there is news about some other change which we all would like to know.
We used to use the What is Going On topic but that has been used differently and no longer reflects its original purpose!

Translator Liis is away for about ten days, so the usual English language articles on the Looduskalender front page will be delayed for a while.

Now that summer time in Europe has ended, here is a reminder to all of us. Go to your own User Control Panel, Board Preferences and disable Daylight Saving time (DST or Summer time)

Front page change:

In LK main page articles the Latin name in the species name strip - pale green - hides a link, that from now on will point to photos in Arne Ader’s nature photo collection, whenever there are relevant photos.

In Arne’s photo database you can easily change over into English for photo titles etc in the language box (top, right hand).

(Until now the link has been to Google image search results for that particular species.)

We are spring cleaning ... We have made new forums for Falcons (including all kinds like kestrels, hobbies etc.) and one for all eagles except the White-tailed and the (Lesser and Greater) Spotted Eagles in Other Webcameras

You will miss the posts about those birds here, they have found a new home now.
