Karl II - 2084 km (+31 km), stopover area, sent data near Oleksandrivka in Ukraine
Pikne - 2733 km (+7 km), stopover place on the bank of the Danube, sent data near Galați (the capital city of Galați County, in the historical region of Western Moldavia) in Romania
Udu - 2691 km (+2 km), sent data from his/her stopover place near the Sóskúti-halastó fishponds near Bánhalma in Hungary

Yes, there is often cause for concern.
The life of Black Storks is not easy, and the mortality rate is worryingly high, unfortunately.
And it is very sad that many of the problems are caused directly or indirectly by us humans.

We should enjoy every day that things are going well.
And yes, we can only hope for the best... and support people and organisations that protect birds and work hard to improve their habitats and stopover sites. :nod:
