:loveshower: :loveshower:

Karula is back in EUROPE again

I wish it'll be an easy flight and soon she'll be home.

EDIT: I was so glad to see how courageous is our Karula  She crossed the sea!!

I'm sure all birds will ask: "where are all the flying machines ?? No planes? No cars on the roads? no people around?"

Hana, - very probably she will be today already in her nest (only photo trap - no camera, no streaming)

(Dr. Strazds wrote: "Another important news is that if all goes well, a photo trap will be added to the Mare's nest in Prussia soon. If it succeeds, then we have a chance to know a lot more about her.")

KARULA, hatched 2018: Thasos Karula is near two very nice places
:hi: Solo, Karula chose a beautiful place  , but traveled a long way across the sea. Maybe the wind helped her too. Do you think it will continue to the mainland or it will stay on the island?

Good morning

POLAND - Polish black storks from the BocaniMy project are in their wintering areas. We don't know about some of them since autumn . A detailed overview is available in the latest summaries as of March 31, 2020 (viewtopic.php?p=718267#p718267).
I’ll put this map report here twice a month

The following storks regularly report:
adult storks:
CNIG15 - Croatia (wintering area Italy)
BOCZ07 Zolty (Yellow) - Poland (wintering area Greece)

and young storks:
CNIG04 - Israel
CNIG22 - Mali (also less frequently CNIG13)
CNIG18, CNIG19, CNIG26 - Ethiopia

If the storks do not change their location significantly, it will not be necessary to create detailed maps (daily points of stay are difficult to find in the number of lines). I will continue to monitor their movement for the sake of whether they are okay and I will give only info to this site (f.e. with one map).
With their more movement the information will be more detailed here.
