You are welcome, Solo

I don't think CNIG 14 is alive. Its transmitter worked well ... But I will keep my hope for a while.

It was the last of the young storks equipped with a transmitter in 2019. This year is very sad even for last year's young storks. Of the 23 storks from 2020, only two report regularly. I'm very sorry about it...

I hope Žólty is okay and we'll learn something about its nesting .

POLAND

I received an answer from prof. Piotr Zieliński :headroll:

2019 - the 3 from the streamed nest:
Gwalbert: transmitter fell silent over the Bzura river. He's definitely dead. (Solo: POLAND)
Patyk: transmitter stopped sending data in February 2020 in Jordan. We don't know what happened. (Solo: ISRAEL)
Skoczek: transmitter sent last data in January 2020 in CHAD. We also do not know whether the bird has perished or the transmitter fell out.
(their photos https://www.looduskalender.ee/forum/vie ... 60#p682760)

2020 - the 2 from the streamed nest:
- no news about Finezja (Solo: last data 24.10. - Egypt, South Sinai Governorate, El Tor area = before crossing the Gulf of Suez)
- Gapcio is still in South Sudan near Juba

prof P.Z. equipped with transmitter in 2020 together 15 young storks in Łódź area:
"Out of 6 of our young storks with transmitters wintering south of Sahara one is already heading home. He is near Aswan now.
Which means that others should move as well, so they will show their position."

New data: 81.04.09:02 Previous data: 01.04. 08:02 update after 7 days
KENYA – The stork has not given any information about itself since April 1. Today we have data from April 8, it was probably traveling and flying in the area outside the GSM coverage. Its last known location is by the Sieku River, east of Dol Dol village and its favorite place. Data from April 01 to 07is missing.

:hi: Solo, thank you very much for these news.
I see that 2019 was also not successful. Mortality of young storks is very high  .
I would prefer adult storks to be equipped with transmitters, for example after treatment in rehabilitation and rescue stations ...

By the way - I am very happy that 5764 Miedzychód has reported again :loveshower:
