New data from Karl: 2020 km on 21.09
He is still in the same area, enjoying his holiday!

I'm worried about Raivo also!
Transmitter is in the last place since 2nd of Sept. No transmission in scheduled time 12th of Sept. Can Bilgin, fellow ornithologist from Ankara promised to look for the place (if can't find anybody situated closer). No response, yet.
Hopefully transmitter fell away!

As I learn from migration map Raivo's transmitter did not send during 4 months in winter 2010/2011. Perhaps this is happening now again?

On the other side - if Raivo is 19 years old, maybe the problem is not the transmitter. What is the expectation of life of Black Storks?

How did they conceive of an age of 10 in 2006?
