about the reserve (GT): Biological reserve "Bukchansky" with an area of 4990 hectares was established in 1979 to preserve large natural plantations of cranberries. Its core is the Topilovskie bogs, along the perimeter of which there are mixed forests consisting of oak, pine and birch. In late summer and early autumn, the reserve is actively visited by pickers of wild berries. At the same time, this area is distinguished by a high level of biological diversity. Here you can find marsh turtle, hazel dormouse, field harrier and other species that are under the protection of the Red Book of Belarus. https://wildlife.by/directory/zakazniki ... kchanskiy/

Auda was eaten last night most probably by jackals. Bulgarian colleagues searched Audas transmitter and left overs, but only feathers found on the bank of river... They will continue searching. Transmitter still works.
