This morning, on December, 9th, a black stork with a ring (8061) was photographed at Ein Bay Fishponds. The ring beginning with number 8 is from Slovakia :loveshower:

I wrote to SK ringing center ( :nod: - White ring with a black four alpha-numeric code, starting number '8'.)

EDIT: maybe this photo was taken in Ein HaMifratz

"נדמה לי שנצפתה לפני 4 שנים בכפר רופין" GT: I think it was observed 4 years ago in Rufin village (= kibbutz Kfar Ruppin)

He feeds east of the city of Hadera in Gan Shmuel fishponds, overnights on a power line pylon. Exceptionally he spent the last night at one of the ponds.

yes, this stork was observed in Kfar Ruppin on 08.01.2014. - I haven't more info yet
