now is Eedi on another place (probably on the way to northe-east), but the Tendaha valley maybe will be also interesting (only if you have enough time  )
Solo, I've tried to do some pics of Tendaha valley where Edi is near. But it is very unproductive to take screenshots in this area. One can see not much, can't get good pictures. But this is probably only because of the miserable area. 8-)
I hope, Edi is well. :2thumbsup: I've seen not the smallest greenery.

View to north. It looks almost like an area where brown coal is won.

Now behind Edis position the big dam where he had stayed probably for quite a while. Sorry, I'm not up to date in Edis migration. I only take a short look on the birdmap every day to be sure that he is moving around. View to north/north west. On the left side of the valley it's the town Tendaha.

Good night all!

Edit: Now I've seen that there meanwhile was a new update and Edi has left already the area of the pics above. I think he did it right.

Solo, you're welcome! Thank your for the pictures and the interesting link above.
I didn't know that Saudi-Arabia in its southern parts is so green! Amazing, wonderful landscapes! :D Though Edis current position is more north of it, isn't it?

It was interesting for me to see, that Goris map offers to you Mares last timestamp 15:30:17 and for me 16:30:17, but Movebank offers 13:30:17 for everyone  (UTC time)

Mare is in Your timezone (Major Cities in Sudan include Khartoum)

I like to imagine, that my timezona is like the storks in Ethiopia

Solo, maybe You or anybody else knows more about the "Black Stork Belarus (n=5)" project in Movebank? Planning 10 storks, only 5 are on map (3 from Belarus and 2 from Ukraina) and only 2 of them are on migration path. And very mysterious is the "leap" of stork No 5345 to the surroundings of Tallinn and back to Moldova...
