Loode's place does not look good. I hope she is flying further.

I just read that last weekend in the North of Germany about 140.000 cranes were resting. Due to sudden cold in Scandinavia almost all Scandinavian cranes started their migration. Much to my regret they are flying via Frankfurt - I am living north of the Main Region - to France. Sometimes I am lucky if they are taking a different route

A paradise for migratory bird lovers: In addition to about 20 pairs of storks, every year tens of thousands of cranes are attracted to the stork village of Linum.
