Hello Sova!
Oh God. Poor stork!
This is definitely not its natural habitat. Did this bird escape from a zoo or so?
That makes it even less likely for him to survive in the wild, doesn’t it?
Hopefully they can trap him... and find some solution.

I hope this poor stork has been reported to the animal welfare authorities ... and that they are currently figuring out an appropriate strategy to trap him ... and offer him what he needs...sova wrote: ↑October 31st, 2020, 5:50 pm Today the poor stork has been spotted again

Thank you, Juta
Our Karula decided to spread his wings.
He flew a bit to the north, had some feeding stops, and returned to the Tal Al-Mantah fishponds, where he spent the entire afternoon.
This route is 19.2 km long.
At 17:50:52 (UTC+2), the battery level was 68%.
It is not clear whether he spent the previous night in (or near) the fishponds near Umm al'Obor or flew there (very) early this morning. We have no data from evening to early morning.
