That's just it. We don't know. I mean, we don't really _KNOW_.
And I keep insisting we will not know for sure until the rings are spotted, or the transmitter comes back online. So in the meantime I like to think Päike's wintering somewhere in Africa carrying a broken transmitter. Maybe eventually to the full 20-ish year lifespan. No way to tell either way unless spotted.

I would also like to think that our Sun is flying somewhere in Africa.... spending a very happy 8 months birthday...
