Who knows, maybe he's the father of .... :rotf:

The feather samples of the chicks need to be compared to Karl's genes, otherwise there may be more trouble for older rights ...

Karula - seeming to be the smallest and the most hesitating one - is going on straight forward following the sun :headroll: what a surprise. A strong and intelligent storklet :loveshower:

Liz01 wrote: August 18th, 2018, 5:44 pm I agree. The thread is "Karl's family"
I did not understand it that way. Only the explanation that Eedi can now be seen on the map as a comparison (at the map) even though he is not a member of the family.
I agree with Solo and Liz, the other Estonian BS must be on the thread "Black Stork Tracks" where we have been watching them since 2008

This isn't my decision.

Urmas wrote (see above):
"All Black Storks on map. Added also Eedi, not exactly the member of family, but for to compare."
:puzzled:

So I understood that Urmas would like to have Eedi in this topic to compare... ?
Do you think I understood it wrong?
Anne7,

I think, there wasn´t other meaning, than there is also Eedi on map(to compare) at the moment and soon there will be many other species.
This topic was meant for Karl and his storklets, we haven´t had such situation before.
Of course, it´s not forbidden to post about Eedi, but let be main tracking on Black Storks topic.
Or what everybody think about it?
Edit. I saw Hellem´s post later :D

I think mentioning Eedi was meant as a comparison. Of course, Eedi may stay in the general migration thread. Nobody wanted to kidnap Eedi from there.

Eedi is in Black Stork Tracks topic already, the question of Eedi being their Uncle was only humorous remark.

Hello, Juta

Everything is OK for me.
Maybe I understood Urmas right, maybe I understood Urmas wrong...
It is not a big deal.

The easiest way to know on which topic Urmas would like to 'see' Eedi and 'compare', is to ask him.

I think we all recognise that Urmas is the Chief, the Boss of Black Storks in Estonia.
If he wants to have five or fifty black storks in this topic, so be it.
We love black storks, from any family.

I think there is also a very practical thought here. The forum must be "cleaned" again and again to meet today's requirements. The old "black stork" theme may be closed and later archived and black storks from other countries get a new topic? Although birds know no bounds anyway ...

Just a thought ....

Or, maybe the Boss meant that Eedi would be seen as a comparison only on the Bird Map? Could it be so?

Hello everybody !

Thank you for all your postings, informations and thoughts !

That is nice, that PÄIKE did leave the protected region today ! :D
But indeed, this colour is very bad to recognize, even on the white background !
Wasn't it possible to change it in orange or at least a little bit darker yellow, Urmas ?

Have all a good night !

Päike is yellow, because päike (the sun) is in general yellow!
But of course it is possible to change.
