Thanks, Jo!
Yesterday, Karula was still in the same area, the forests west of Ugāle, near the water reservoir Svētes ūdenskrātuve.
This morning, at 01:41:10 (UTC+3), the battery level was 48%.

He flew about 10 km.

The forests where Karula currently stays, are clearly intended for commercial forestry.
I am not sure it would be a good idea to return to this area next year if he wants to breed.

And also today, Karula is still in the same area.

This morning, at 09:41:10 (UTC+3), the battery level was 44%.
And at 17:40:49 (UTC+3), the battery level was 46%.
So today it has not or hardly reloaded.

This route is about 15 km long.

Yes, that is not very good.
Too much rain and too much shade in these forests, I guess.

I am not worried yet. Karula is at a safe place, it can´t be something with him.

Juta, thank you ... I'm not worried, Karula is probably still in the forest. The weather is not ideal these days. I assume that the battery is also at very low levels. Now we have to wait for slightly better weather, a little more sun.
