January 14th
Good morning, everyone
I loved to read that article, Solo!
Here is Maru's tracker map, from yesterday (the entire day) to now.
TRACKER MAP
Maru_Jan13_Jan14morning

Maru is still at the same wastewater pond.
And the tracker map for Karula, this morning.
TRACKER MAP
Karula_Jan14_morning
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1gBl9S ... sp=sharing
Karula is having breakfast at the fishponds of Ein HaNatsiv.
Ein Hanatziv is part of the Religious Kibbutz Movement (HaKibbutz HaDati) and is part of a bloc of religious Kibbutzim in the Beit Shean Valley, which includes Sde Eliyahu, Tirat Tzvi and Sheluchot.
I believe there are nets over these ponds.
But the street view images are outdated: August 2012. Maybe the situation changed?
And look at that electricity pole. It doesn't look very safe. I hope that Karula will soon leave this Kibbutz.

Hello dear friends,
I'm fine! I only had a lot to do the last days and then was too tired to write. I'm really very sorry, if you were worried.
But every now and then I had a look here and saw all was fine - more or less. :)
Thank you very much to you,
Solo, Sova, Hellem, Anne and everyone, for all the news, many updates and (mostly) beautiful and interesting pictures. Not beautiful of course are the pictures with nets on a pond. I will try to find pictures of the area on other cards. Maybe the nets have indeed disappeared meanwhile.
Thanks a lot for this video, Solo!
It's very interesting to see, how it "works" when the Black Storks are in the fields.
Some are searching for food on the edge of the field. They seem mainly interested in the border between grassland and ploughed field. Many are resting.
Maybe our Maru is doing like those storks? Together with others? I hope so. :)
This is really a very nice and interesting article. Thank you, Solo!
Edit:
I couldn't find any picture of those fish ponds. Not on Zoom Earth, GE, Google maps or normal Google search. :-(
