maybe he flies west route
The western route... Who nows?
As long as he does not intend to cross the Mediterranean, everything is OK for me.

Anne
If I remember correctly, Ziluka also flew to Poland. I thought she was coming to Berlin with me. Then she took the normal east route.

Yes, she was in Poland

I've landed here because Ari wanted to know the flight speed of black storks. I thought I find data here.
I think Aru's speed was normal.

Hi Liz01! :hi:  Now we are both here!
I too decided to check the speed.
It does look normal, Oru’s speed changes between 32-59 km/h.

Thank you, Jo, for the update.
Quick question: why is the official bird map update so slowly?
It often shows yesterday’s data.

ORU

Aha, now I see why Oru flew to Poland.
He wanted to visit the Narew National Park! :D

Narew National Park (Polish: Narwiański Park Narodowy) is a National Park in Podlaskie Voivodeship, north-eastern Poland, created in 1996. The park is a 35 kilometres section of the Narew River. It is a swampy valley with moraine hills typical of a braided river. Depending on the season and the level of the water table, several riparian area ecosystems are available including swamps, tussocks with surrounding black alder (Latin: Alnus glutinosa) and white willow (Latin: Salix alba) forested areas. The total area of the Park is 73.5 square kilometres, of which only 20.57 square kilometres is state-owned, the balance being privately held.

Oru will probably spend the night near Wiercien.
