Päike
Distance: 1290 km (+ 41 km in 2 days)
Last data:
15.09.2018
Päike flew to the south but returned to the same place on the Svirzh River in Vasyuchyn.
I kept Maru's red line visible for comparison.
Päike made a visit to the Okhaba River and to the Dnister River, near Zhuraven'ky.
Päike returned to the pond near the Svirzh River.
This pond seems to be a good feeding area.

Good Morning Anne and all others,
and thanks to everyone for all the new news we got!
Yes,
It is interesting to follow Päikes and Marus migration...
- Will they meet somewhere, and would they fly together forwards
- Or if they do not meet, then, who is first in the wintering place
Likewise of course Karl and Karula ...
- When will they continue their journey
- They would also be able to meet somewhere, at least if Karula would continue his migration first
Anyway, it is also interesting to see where the members of Karl's family (+ Eedi) decide to spend their wintertime,
more or less in the same region, or very far away from each others.
Sunday greetings

Did he/she start flying southwards?
Or is he/she in this little forest to spend the night?
Enjoy a sunny Sunday.

Thanks very much, Anne

Hello, sova and Trine!
You're welcome!
I'm glad that you appreciate the work.
I've made a comparison of
Karl's movements in 2016, 2017 and now.
In 2016 he stayed in this area till September 21 and in 2017 till September 26.
Hello, everyone!
I feel a little lonely here, at the moment.
Actually, I really wish that more people would actively participate in documenting these journeys.
Someone, PLEASE?
It is a daily job and indeed quite some work. On the one hand, I personally feel too much involved to 'abandon' Karl and his family, but on the other hand, I never volunteered to do this job (mostly on my own).
It would be much more fun (and easier) to do it together.

Dear Anne ... if I could do it well, I would do it. But I'm glad that it works for me with simple pictures.
Sorry

I'm curious too.
Maybe between the 21st and the 26th of September?

Hello, everyone
We have new data on Karl.
Karl
Distance: 1701 km (+ 15 km)
Last data:
16.09.2018
Karl is still in the same area and spent the night in his favourite little forest.
I count 18 lines (IN & OUT) + 1 line (IN), so possibly Karl slept there for the 10th time.
(Now I feel like his mother-in-law
)
