Hi all.Olga wrote:Thanks for the pictures!! I have watched almost each day, every now and then, but it has been so difficult to get a good picture of the chick. Most of time the chick has been behind the rock under parent's wings between the toes, hardly half of it has been to see..
Thank you garina. The last few days I missed the other family.garina do mar wrote:![]()
Yes! I just saw them today :)
The chick is huge!! With feathers growing
As soon as we understand what will happen in this nest we will see it more often:
- if there will be a chick, the cam will be changed from time time from one nest to another;
- if there is no chick the cam will return down to the other nest
So it is a teenager-mom and the first breeding.garina do mar wrote:Yes. From time to time the cam goes there but only by luck we can see it.
The chick from this family will be born soon. Today is the 55th day since the egg was seen but they didn't start to warm it imediatly.
We think than at most in 2 or 3 days something will happen, or not.
But the GV is very curious about the egg. He kicks it with the beak ;) so maybe it knows that something is about to happen
