The stream comes back at 6:49:


El macho is no great rush:


He leaves the nest (probably just in order to spend a few minutes perched on one of the branches next to the nest) at 10:38:

Where's papa?


Where's everybody?


Dad comes back into the nest at 10:42:

Dad keeps making sure the chick stays in the shade:


It's generally a peaceful day (though the chick could do with a meal)


Here's some evening rain:

The shower's over:


Dad does some jumps to get water off his wings:


Ouch! He's caught the chick with a talon:

That doesn't stop him from more high jump practice:


What a bird!


He even manages to provide an appetiser (it's probably leftovers from the last few meals - his picks up some pieces from the floor, and the chick is not particularly impressed with the quality)

Thankfully, Dad is relieved of duty at 19:38:


It takes him just 13 seconds to leave:


A few minutes later Mom starts to feed the little one:

A few minutes later Mom regurgitates a proper chunk of meat:


Now we can play some foodball:


The chick can have no complaints now:

Naturally, tonight it's Mom who's staying with the chick:


The day ends a little early (not enough sunlight to power the camera):

The stream starts at 6:51 today:


La hembra and el pollo are taking it easy this morning:


At 10:09 Mom suddenly leaves the chick alone:

A baffled little chick (Mom's out of sight):


Mom comes back a minute later with a fresh harvest of soil, moss and possibly grass:

The chick follows Mom across the nest (note the chick's bare neck, so characteristic of the species)

Dad comes home at 13:04:


Mom take a little longer to leave than seems to be the recent norm:


Dad leaks some liquid food (to the nest floor):

Mom returns at 13:09 bumping into Dad, who is a little slow in making room:
