A loooong feeding started at 09:15, I made two parts video of this feeding, for the geeks among us

The always hungry little one got a big share!

:hi:
I have to apologize to Leo for the unfounded suspicions :faint:
He's doing great this year, there is no shortage of food.
It is a pity the youngest owlet did not survive, there would be enough food for all three.

Those are my thoughts too, still a little mad at Lotte. But, as we know, it can change quickly.

I think the siblings were already too strong when the youngest one came out of the egg.
My son cried a lot when he heared that it died.

Where is Lotte?
It seems that she had been away the whole afternoon.
I hope, she's fine.

Leo delivers a mouse straight to the owlets and again the older one can claim it, its tactic is perfect, simply block your younger sibling with opened wings

Lotte stayed on the ledge until 05:54, then flew up to a daytime perching place from which she can observe the owlets
