:loveshower: The first chick hatched in Dongen this morning around 4am. Maybe there is already No.2. The mother covers everything.

The small owlets in Dongen begin to open their eyes. There are still many mice there. Am I the only one watching these little owls? :puzzled:

Hello, Jujani :hi:
I also observe them. I would not know whether one should continue or not.

Why you not look further, sova? Are you afraid that something will happen? I've watched them last year, they're just funny, cheeky and totally sweet.

In Ww it also looks good, not as many mice as in Dongen, but many insects. Unfortunately also always jackdaws the annoy the Little Owl`s

In Ww yesterday 4 chiks hatched and they looks very well. But one of them died in the night
Exactly I do not know yet, it has read in the Dutch chat. The cameras in Ww stand still again. :banghead:

Father came with a worm for mother. If mother also gave the dead fledgling.
But because he helped himself from pantry, mother jumped behind. And thus still lay there of the dead fledglings.

Something happened at the Little Owls in Ww. A marten tried to get into the cottage. The mother is out and probably not back yet. At the moment the father is with the little ones. Hopefully nothing has happened to the mother.

Hopefully the mother comes back, the father does not do it alone. The children are too small.
When the marten has killed the mother? I do not want to think :faint:

The father is a little hero, but he can not do what the mother does. The little begs, they seek warmth. Maybe the mother comes back when it's dark. I hope so. If the female does not come back, I will not look at the camera anymore.

They are beautiful, Jujani!
I have watched them today for couple of minutes but I did not have such a clear/sharp picture.

I will watch the other nest only if mom will return.
