00:16 The male delivered a bird. It looks like a young bird, but I can't recognize the species.

00:20:15 She left the nest and took the prey with her.

Thank you, Sova. These are nice names!

14:50 The cam operator made us a gift and zoomed out, so that we could see a big part of the ruin and Charlottes position there.
How interesting!

The old window with the yellow arrow is Charlottes place.

A small courtyard. Looks as if the Eagle Owls are well protected there from human disturbances.

Again Zoom in.

Hatched just after 8:30. Mother and child won't allow a picture to be taken yet but... welcome little barn owl and may you be free and fated for life. ❤

February 28th

No luck for beautiful photos.

I hope Hoppy takes good care of his princess and all the chicks. Lately, he has been coming home without food too.
After all, there are still six potential offspring in the nest.

These claws... They give me the creeps just looking at them. Princess is so very careful. She seemed to feel the eggs. Again and again she touched the surface carefully with her foot.

Image

The camera has no sound. I'm not sure if she's calling at this moment? She stood up and her posture seems tense.
(Sweet the paddles = wings) :)

Image

Junior ... hardly noticeable.

Eagle Owl, Denmark
The camera is working again https://www.dof.dk/oplev-fuglene/ugletv
Female is incubating, but the nest is so deep, that it is impossible to see eggs.

There are many squirrels there, but their behaviour is risky.
