Uhu Webcam (Germany, Eifel) ~2015

Post by Bea »

We are watching here an Eagle Owl cam in Germany, Eifel, valley of river "Ahr"
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eifel
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eifel

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahrtal
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahr_Valley

The nest is on a ledge, in the valley of river "Ahr".
Name of female Eagle Owl is "Lotte" (no ring) and male is called "Leo" (ring left leg).
Leo is her new mate in this year, the years before the established male was "Heinzl" (ring right leg).

I heard the male calling last night, around midnight and later, too. Snow was falling and I already hoped that one of them would spend the night at the nestbowl, but they didn´t.

Pixtura also got him in the morning
