We are sorry to announce that one of the owlets passed away last night. It looks like Sunny was unable to thrive. We are very saddened by the loss.

I'm not wise from the chat. I read it as if there was a fight and Didi is gone. Is the Jasper in the picture?

:hi:

Jujani, it is Shorty inside the box today
from I read, Jasper and Didi bonding in the box, then Shorty home, Didi chasing Shorty out
and then Didi left, Shorty went in for the day

since 9/21, Didi and Jasper had pancake bonding, Shorty and Coco chasing them out of box many times, especially Jasper...
maybe Didi is ready for the clutch 4, I know Jasper is so ready... the queation is, are we ready ?! :D

Maybe, it can be also a reason, that OCG makes always a great supplement of food too. Much food, much offsprings. :D

Are the owls always fed there, even if there is no emergency? Do they make the youngsters leave the box and have to look for food?

I think so. When the youngsters are old enough the parents chase them away, then they must go for self hunting.
