Yes, already the whole day - again and again - no connection possible

I think they moved to another server, maybe that causes the troubles. Can´t record anything at the moment

9:50 the fox again. Does it mean: no owls this year? Yesterday in the evening I have heard the owls but nothing was to be seen.

The fox "dropped" down from a place above at 09:46

It jumped upside and was invisible for a while, then came back at 09:52 and left the ledge again by jumping upside

As I already wrote earlier, I think that the fox is searching for mice - there is lot of mouse-traffic during night time.

I hope owls won´t feel so dirsturbed by its visits that they decide to skip nesting on this place ... first egg in 2015 was laid on 10. March, so it is too early to say anything.

Yes, I´d say it was Lotte. I think I heard Leo hooting not far when she was scratching in the nestbowl

A load of stones and other stuff fell down from the 1st floor ....

And then, at 12:38 --- another visit of the fox :faint:

Beautiful animal, no doubt about it ..... but I´d prefer to see it elsewhere ...... :whistling:

I definitely do not like the fox in this place. It is dangerous for eggs and chicks.
Our couple of owls may choose another place to nest :puzzled:

At 04:01 Leo heard Lotte calling, in a bit distance, but he begins to become "busy" :D

04:13
Lotte is somewhere close, one can hear her calling and Leo starts display in the nestbowl :shake:
When he took off, cam panned over the ledge because they still could be heard calling, but they were not there

14. February

Happy Valentine´s Day for everyone!

Foxes seem to become quite familiar with the nestbowl area .....

Today at 07:08 were some funny sounds and then a fox dropped down .... and it was coughing and sneezing

Sorry, sound out fo sync .... this happens when I have to cut clips from very long night recordings, the longer the recording the more out of sync .... :(

And at 12:53 the next fox paid a visit to the nestbowl ....

I could be wrong, but think it were two different ones ...

Short after Leo arrived he had a sharp eye on the place above, from where the fox always jumps down .....

Hello sova

Maybe the fox(es) want to claim the place for their territory, too .... who knows?
I fear a fox would not disdain Owl´s eggs or owlets ...

Hopefully Leo and Lotte will clarify the borders of their territory soon .....
