Fox dropped down from above and checked the nestplace, gave some suspicious looks to the cam support, but finally decided that the place is safe enough for a nap, after it as ready with the first round of grooming
Videos show the times when the fox was "in action" .... grooming, scratching, stretching, sleeping again

An itch stopped his nap, I suppose the fox has a lot of fleas

17:16
Last activity before he leaves
At 17:25 the Fox jumped up to the place where he came from, but came down again after a minute and checked other ways to leave the ledge. He found no safe way and took again the same way where he came from.
I had the impression that it was a young fox.

30. October
08:41
Fox was back for a morning visit, scratched its fleas, pooped, looked around and went away again
Maybe it was too uncomfortable for a longer rest on the ledge today, it is a stormy day in the Eifel

Thanks Bea
I know, it is owls place but the fox is so cute.
He is naughty, too. He did his big business here.

17:36 It looked like an owl landed on the ledge and frightened the fox. I hope Bea catched this event.

Eagle owl landed on the fox
For me it looks not like a serious attack, but "brushing" over the foxes back was more meant to chase him away from the place

Thank you Bea
It was so fast, that I even wasn't sure if it was an owl. I have watched your video in slo mo and apparently owl attacked fox.
I don't like foxes at this place. In my country we have thousands of foxes, but very few eagle owls. Of course eagle owls are protected.

Yes, I agree, this is an Eagle owls´ place with top priority, and despite the fox looks cute when he is lying there in the sun and resting, I would prefer to see them on a different place
What do you think about the attack, Mamicja?
For me it looked like it was no attack with the intention to kill, but to show the fox WHO is the BOSS on the ledge and to scare it away ....

For me it looked like Leo(?) wanted to frighten the fox or knock it down from the ledge.

Thank you, Mamicja.
The fox was totally surprised in the moment Leo (?) pushed him, I am sure he has not heard or seen him approaching .... loudless owl attack, their specialty
