Leo still stays a bit, makes some looks towards the nest bowl, but is not coming closer to it
He takes off at 20:22
I am not 100 % sure, but I think I heard mating squeaks at 20:22:25

so finally there’s the second egg.

If we assume that the first egg was laid on March 9, then the second egg today is within the deadline. Around 7 in the morning it looked like Lotte is in labor.

Can anyone tell, please, when the deadline for following eggs is?
The first egg was sighted on March 8th at 23:32 for the first time.

If the second egg was laid this morning around 7:30 am, there are at least 3 days and 8 hours between both eggs. That's quite a distance.

Sorry Michi, but I was already on my way to bed at this time and too tired for another video

I would never expect you to make videos at this late hour. The next day it would have been early enough. But anyhow it would only have been interesting if there hadn't been the later events.

Leo delivers a bird (pigeon?) for Lotte, she stayed for the moment on the nest with it, didn´t fly out or eat it immediately

Camera went offline (at least at my end here) at 19:57, with Lotte and the bird still on the nest.

When I could open the cam again at around 20:10 nest was empty, no Lotte, no bird - so she had obviously flown out with it.

She returned at 20:12, still with some feathers in/around her beak. She must have eaten the whole bird within this short time

No food deliveries to the nest during the night.
