Ouh, wow - Leo and Lotte in cam view, in autumn display

Thank you all for your pictures
I had recording on, but cutting a long video and converting and uploading takes time
Didn´t cut their visit in pieces ... for that one long clip.

At 19:56 cam operator catches Leo on 2016 nestplace and Lotte can be heard also

At 20:07 Lotte must have been coming closer, Leo reacts immediately

At 20:13 Leo leaves and Lotte arrives

20:22 - Lotte is leaving, both can be heard calling in vicinity

Heard Owls calling ... but I'm not there all the time.

We have the picture in the moment but I do not hear an owl (dinner break)

Handsome Leo was on the ledge, for quite a while

Cam operator caught Leo near the traditional nest place, he sat on this position until 20:06, listened
to Lotte´s hoarse calls, observed vicinity and looked handsome all the time

At 20:06 he walked up to the breeding spot and chuckled and scratched, maybe Lotte came somewhere closer and he reacted. Something upside caught his attention for a while.





He left at 20:21

What a day!
Owls visited all 3 known nests. First 2017 nest, where Leo was digging and scratching, and Lotte checked results. Then Leo visited 2016 nest and later the ledge.
And again he was in 2016 nest.
Now my video also has stopped

I got Leo landing at 19:18 to the 2016 nest place, one can hear ducks and song birds complaining before and while he flew in, not amused about an Eagle owl so near

He stayed a bit lower than the nest place until 19:22, then he must have been seeing Lotte and he hurried up to the 2015 nest bowl.

At 19:33 I suppose that Lotte landed somewhere close to the traditional nest place and Leo flew over to the trad. nest place and stayed until 19:36
