Didn´t it sound as if Lotte and Leo were discussing the future nest place this evening? At least Lotte was discussing ....
She arrived at 22:46 and stayed until 23:02
I didn´t cut the video shorter or in parts, too many interesting vocalisations and poses from Lotte, so good to see her at the traditional nest place after such a long time
Leo arrived on last years´ nest place at 23:00 and stayed until 23:15.
After a bit scratching in the beginning he didn´t "do" much, most of the time he was listening what Lotte had to tell him, she was sitting somewhere not far, after she had left traditional nest place at 23:02
During the last days cam operator is checking the known nest places, also the one from 2016. There seems to be a depression from scratching, hm?
He is also focussing on some other places .... but until now no Lotte is sitting on one of these known places .... does it mean that she is still not sitting anywhere or is she already sitting on a place we still don´t know?
After Cam2 was focussed on some ivy leaves and branchlets the whole last night, it was focussed back to last years nest place in the afternoon. Whole afternoon was some kind of auto-zoom to the ground and back .... and now there is permanent dimming and focussing back and forth since hours.
Lotte was somewhere invisible, but audible ... they had a conversation. Leo stayed a bit on the ledge, controlling his territory and observing what Lotte is doing meanwhile .... he became lively again short before 07:00, Lotte must have been coming close and he suddenly began to chuckle and display his tailfeathers
After he had taken off cam operator tried to follow and catch him again .... I think he caught him for a short moment being on the 2016 nest place. Short time after this a flying Eagle owl came in cam view and there might have been a mating in the trees or on the place where they were already caught before.
18:23
Lotte and Leo had a conversation and cam operator caught Leo flying out from his hide ... it is a bit lower from the 2016 nest place. He caught Leo again, hooting upon the traditional nest place
