This evening Leo did his best to convince Lotte to come to one of his preferred nestplaces

Whole story started at 18:24

Outside view - Leo was near the opposite ridge, flew to a tree and from there to 2017-nestplace

He stayed a while here, until 18:41 ... and short before he took off he saw someone ....

18:41 - outside view
Lotte was flying by, towards the opposite ridge and Leo flew out from 2017-nestplace to 2016-nestplace

18:50
When Leo flew out from 2016-nestplace cam operator followed him, he scrolled over him twice

He was here:

At 18:58 Leo was on 2016-nestplace again ....

... and again at 19:07

It seems he is preferring the 2016-nestplace for Lotte this year :whistling:

Will she follow his suggestion?

20. March

06:11
Leo checked the 2017-nestplace in the morning

I pondered whether Lotte is thinking about skipping one year ..... like she did in the year of the adoption try (2013)

I already feared that!

And waited for an announcement like this .... but it is good to read that Stefan Brücher was on the spot and checked the area with a spotting scope and will continue to do so.

It would be great when he could spy them, even when they should not breed this year.

:hi: it's like last year at the same time. A new cam view in cam 2, do they suppose Lotte here or did they found her? Let's see what happens.
