The first visible visitor in the new year was not an Eagle owl .....

I had the camera still on, was short before going to sleep, when I saw a tail disappearing :D
My thought was: "Oh, one of the foxes is back on the ledge!"

Checking my recording today in the morning showed that it was no fox, but a marten - with some prey in his mouth!

Hmmm, I can´t say which kind of prey it was, something furry?

I also heard a hooting Eagle owl some minutes after the marten´s visit, but as long as I watched and recorded no one came in cam view.

Lotte (at least I think it is Lotte) was on the ledge for quite a while this night, archive pictures show her from 01:03 to 04:33
First she was close to the rim, later further back and closer to the wall

May I ask members to read this post and consider if they are able to help Urmas in his attempts to preserve Estonian forests from industrial forestry

Courtship is in full swing :loveshower:

Lotte made me giggle how she pulled, cracked and shifted the little twig :D
I think she had a meeting with Leo somewhere close, short before she flew in to the traditional nest place
