Yep and thank you for all the pics and videos Fleur.

This is an unusual prey bird family, as they just clean and oil the feathers of their sisters and brothers without any fights. Too human?

It is also interesting, that the smallest (but not necessarily not the youngest) nestling went first to the ’branch’ and did his unvoluntary first flight.

June 10
Good morning!

06:50 Another chicken made its first flight? I am not sure. Anyway, one chicken is on the box roof now.

Sorry for removing the picture, but Photobucket tried to blackmail money afterwards for linking pictures, so I removed the pictures and deleted my account at them.

The chicken on the roof must be someone else than the brave first flyer. I think our 5/5 in size from big to small (the first fledger) is now on the far right, with 4/5 next to him.

1/5 is on the front beam and 2/5 is in the box, so the most nervous one, 3/5 is on the box and tries to find out, how she can get out of there.

Hi Fleur

It would be nice to understand Hungarian. ... Unfortunately I do not understand even a single word of it. Also Google Translator is not good with Fenno-Ugrian languages.

There is a nice video on Mavir’s FB about the chicken number 5 coming back home in the morning of June 9, about 24 hours after he fell down. He was climbing (!) on the steel beams under the box and then flew home. The chickens had a lot to talk to each other, when he was back in the box. :D

I did not understand the new FB texts, but it seems now in the video stream, that there are only 4 chickens in the box. Difficult to say, because the birds are sleeping and do not move.

Thank you Ferenz for the pictures.

So, you try to insist, that a bird cannot face an accident, because you know, that it is statistically not possible?

I find your attitude unnatural, but this is of course just my opinion.
