09:06 SHADOW is moving the body. Looks like a big fish was under it.

while doing it, he is tasting some pieces.

It wa very heavy for him and he stopped on the left side

At 09:09 it was Jackie who moved the body of dead Cookie to the left side od the nest. There was no fish under him, it only looked like.
Shadow tried already at 07:25 a few times, it really must have been heavy for him to tear with the beak. He only teared the body a bit from the place where he has passed away towards direction parents branch and left him there. Shadow was plucking down feathers off him and Simba picked up a bunch of them into his beak, while watching closely what Daddy is doing. I also had the impression that he ate a few morsels of.... and Jackie later at 09:02 also ate 3 morsels...

I'm a bit worried about Simba. Although he took advantage of the now more space for doing nice wingersizing and laying down stretched out for resting, he didn't eat much today.
I only saw him eating 1 time the whole day, when he was fed by Shadow with a fresh catfish.

Later, if Jackie or also Shadow wanted to feed him again, he refused.

Did anyone see him eating at least once more ?

Is it possible that he is still mourning about his dead brother or is this thought too human ?

Yesterday evening Jackie again moved the Cookie's remains
and started to handle with. She plucked also the long pin feathers off Cookie's wing.

If someone wants to see, knarley123 again did a video about it.
Caution: It might be hard to watch !

This is the description of the video, i like to add here in this case, a good description as i think:

Three days ago, the Big Bear eagles lost Cookie, one of their dear eaglets at 6 weeks of age.
When this occurs on a nest, a few options are left open for the carcass.
It can decompose and become part of the nest, the adults may remove it from the nest or it serves as a nutrient for the other eaglets.

There is no right tor wrong. These are eagles, wild raptors, doing what they have done long before you or I were here.

Here, Jackie, the mother bald eagle, is seen feeding fish remains to Simba. Jackie then starts de-feathering a portion of the carcass. She soon stops and returns to her perch.
