MoM stretched, looked around, jumped a step forward with her right leg and took off...

12.43 Berry Dad flies in with prey for Berry Mom :loveshower:

it is a headless fish, she was happy to get it

the little bird with a long tail from earlier, visits again while both are on the nest,
it flew off when Berry Dad came closer

:hi:

Berry Mom spent that night in the nest again.
She was awake and up around 5.00 am for a while, preening a little, then laid down again sleeping.

7.00 am she is awake, still laying down on nest
7.16.08 Berry Dad comes to nest ("good morning, dear, how are you ?") :innocent:
7.17.45 Berry Mom flies off, Dad stays in nest
7.19 he moves a long white feather from right to left, looks like a lost tail feather of Berry Mom

Dad looked a while at this feather, then started doing some nestwork

7.30.15 he hops up to the branch in front and flies off

My thoughts of a possible injury on her upper beak (close to the eyes), it has been noticed also from others:

from chat:
Sep 20, 4:49 AM
AliciaMyers: She does have some new injuries to her beak and eye areas but those too are healing quickly and show no signs of infection.

Sep 20, 5:13 AM
AliciaMyers: When people ask about her facial injuries they're told its food. There were some pretty good pictures of her injuries when she first was seen with them

Sep 20, 5:33 AM
Apollo_47: Time will tell.

9.45.44 Berry Dad flies in and starts with a little nestwork,
moving sticks out of the center to the edge,
then stands in the center of the nest, looking around, maybe waiting for Berry Mom to come in

10.53.03 Berry Dad leaves the nest, flies off to the left

EDIT: Berry Mom was not sleeping in the nest overnight

screen record! Better than nothing

balistar, your Infos from the chat.

BTW: You can still see that her beak is injured. I don't understand how one can say this (with the low camera resolution) that there was no infection. You don't see it either with a good camera resolution.

Aww, Liz, thank you for these pics. I always wondered how she could scratch herself with this injured leg when she has an itch.

Rita, I've often asked myself that. Now I saw it, and I'm happy about it :D

agreed. I think they just don't want people to panic.

Yes, good to see how she is able to handle with her disabled left leg, although it always hurts me to watch, it's touching.
Having the weight almost only on her right leg, i often think she must have muscles there like "Schwarzenegger" 8-)
