Good Mornig all :hi:

Our Stormy is doing well :loveshower:

Big Bear Lake Bald Eagles ist mit Tina Lafferty unterwegs.

STORMY STRONG :) He's alive, he's well and he's in Big Bear Lake. A special thank you to Shannon Cascarini and to my husband Captain Mike and his boat for today's confirmation of STORMY. We have the bands and the TAIL is growing. To all who said Stormy flew away to another State or place, guess what? He did not! Stormy is here and the search was well worth it. Thank you to Shannon the Kindergarten teacher who like some of us others KNEW we could locate Stormy with a little time and determination! Shannon the sweet kindergarten teacher will be writing us her observation for tonight and i'm preparing my pictures to accompany our beautiful sighting today of Stormy. STORMY IS STRONG he flew over the mountains and returned to his perch to hunt :) He cleaned himself. He has tail growth! What a wonderful day in the eagles neighborhood here by Big Bear Lake!!!!! - Trish :)

and here :innocent:
Tonight's words come from the spotter of Stormy - Shannon Cascarini (Sugarloaf/Menifee) What an extraordinary gift we have been given! We've all become intricately woven together, sharing in the lives of our Big Bear Eagles. We've celebrated in their triumphs, mourned the loss of Baby Big Bear, and admired the resiliency of Stormy. Whether you are near or far, the love for our Eagles has brought us together. Finding Stormy was truly a wonderful team effort that I will forever be grateful to have been a part of! *special note! Shannon is a Kindergarten teacher and her class has followed the BBL eagle nest cam closely

Hi Liz, I would wish it (I love Stormy very much) but yesterday I have read of FB (Friends of Big Bear Valley) that this info was incorrect because this is another juvenille (with blue ring while Stormy has purple :slap: ) .

https://www.facebook.com/Friends-of-Big ... 029491602/

At first I was happy that you have newer info but one of your photo is the same as on the FB. And also it unfortunately corresponds with the fact you wrote about - that this bird has no lost feathers.

But I wish I am wrong.

It's all very strange in this nest.
Shadow and Mrs.BB are very often in the nest together.
They act like a couple.

I think if Stormy was around, he'd get in the nest. He used to come even when Shadow was in the nest or in the tree.

Hello Sue,

thanks very much, that's the best news and i am very very happy about it, too :loveshower:

I am no FB-member, therefore i can't read the whole text there, but i've read in the description of a YT-vid of Lady Hawk, they have had a fund-raising for to get rid of that dangerous string and fishing line. Just relieved that it is out now.

Curios, if Shadow will be the next mate ? Let's see.....

balistar :hi: , yes, let´s see .... But I still believe that Mr B will be the mate again (and that relations between Mrs B and Shadow is only a game between two relatives). But of course time will show us  .

Someone sent me this link to the Mississippi-Flyway-Cam from the upper Mississippi-River at Onalaska lake with stationary and migrating bald eagles, cranes, white egrets, canada geese, american widgeons and pelicans. Darkness there ends about our early afternoon.

Sorry, just the day I posted that the cam no longer showed a live stream but a highlight-video.
