FEEDING :loveshower:
Image

Finally: Mum and Dad get a big prey. Image

It's so funny to see:
The chick can not wait. It hacks and biting the prey.(and also in Mum's Talon & Beak  )
It jumps up to Mama's beak. And Mum's pieces are too small...
ImageImage
ImageImage

So, and now beak clean:
Image
Mum forces the chick away from the flesh and lies before: sleep now! :offtobed:

The prey looks as if it will be enough for several more feedings for the little greedy one

The Little had already hungry again
ImageImage
.. let's see how long the supplies last. :whistling: (it seems it is a Hyrax)

But now full and weary  Image

Tomorrow should the chick be a number greater
It were nice if the chick soon had a name. :chick:

Thus, the 3 meals today were for the Chick: A large and two smaller ones. :headroll:

There is a video on YouTube of the food delivery today (not by me):

And here's a video about hunting on Hyrax (or Dassie 's) , their preferred prey:

Great to see that there was food at last. I looked around there a bit, but the chick has no name yet.
Right now chick is home alone and sleeps.

I have just seen that a second egg is still there.

I see Emoyeni digging again deep in the nest hole.
Maybe it makes another sense; coolness, insect or ... I do not know...

The camera has changed the zoom setting .
One can not overlook the nest.
Maybe that will change again ...

This is the leftover of the last delivery.
Who knows when the next delivery comes?
