Finally: Mum and Dad get a big prey.

It's so funny to see:
The chick can not wait. It hacks and biting the prey.(and also in Mum's Talon & Beak )
It jumps up to Mama's beak. And Mum's pieces are too small...



So, and now beak clean:

Mum forces the chick away from the flesh and lies before: sleep now!

Great to see that there was food at last. I looked around there a bit, but the chick has no name yet.
Right now chick is home alone and sleeps.

This chick was sleeping long, is now restless.

Mum comes back with a green branch.


Dad comes to visit ...


Housework:
Mum builds on the nest hollow, the head deep in the nest floor.

...into the hole to the baby and mum on top of it (perfect sun protection)

I have just seen that a second egg is still there.

I see Emoyeni digging again deep in the nest hole.
Maybe it makes another sense; coolness, insect or ... I do not know...

Emoyeni and her eaglet have already had breakfast.
There are still leftovers from the last delivery available.

Mom has lead umbrella put up, shade for the chick.

The camera has changed the zoom setting .
One can not overlook the nest.
Maybe that will change again ...

This is the leftover of the last delivery.
Who knows when the next delivery comes?
