Verreaux's eagles are real beauties among eagles, but they are very fierce.

4:19 PM Emoyeni brought the prey - something big and furry. Lot of food for both.
Feeding and self feeding.
Kendi looks gorgeous with his brownish plumage and long legs in white pantaloons.

It was funny to watch...... Emoyeni brought the prey (Dassie?) and flew away. Kendi knew, that he should protect the prey, but he wasn't sure what else. He stepped on it and moved away, tried to peck the prey, but didn't know, how to "open" the carcass.
Finally Emoyeni returned with her helpful beak and claws and fed Kendi.

Lately the the broadcast has a long breaks during the day, so it's hard to notice food deliveries, but Kendi's crop looks rather flat.
Today's sunbath.

Kendi is 108 days old. She (?- see the last BEPR update at https://www.facebook.com/notes/black-ea ... 8599114937) is about to take off, performs lot of wingersizing, but is still in the nest. Anyway fledge can happen anytime.
Emoyeni just before 6 PM. Kendi was very close to the microphone, but not visible.

It seems Kendi favourite spot is near the solar panel ( for Jono it was palm tree). Video by Asleepnomore Birdwatching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vr9ZySK ... e=youtu.be
Before the dusk Emoyenii and Kendi flew on the small rocky ledge near the upper nest.
Emoyeni flew away soon and Kendi settled there for the night
