It is a pity that this thread went quiet. E12 and E13 have developed to almost juvies. They have showed their skills and abilities in many ways. The two have also showed will to stay together on their soarings and trips. For me this year was the sixth, I feel a must to follow this nest year after year, to live along with the eaglets, who develop to individuals as these two E12 and E13 has become. https://forum.hancockwildlife.org/viewt ... ac40a7ee44

Artwork of a very young school class of the Harriet/M15 nest this year:

It is very informative and fun to follow the live chat of SWFEC, the admins are very well educated and the classes ask wonderful questions. It is awesome that the Pritchetts provide service (chat sessions) also to schools and that the schools use the nest cam in education.

Do you mean the dead of this thread was my fault? I did step aside - so did all the others ... :puzzled:
This nest is really one of my favorites, the cam and the chat make the story live. This cam site, chat and thread provide very much knowledge and information about eagles. Not all threads do ...

The SWFL-nest, Harriet's and M15's, is also my favourite nest. Therefore i had posted so much. Each season i watch this nest very closely, nearly 24/7, and i've also learned very much from the chat. The moderators there are really very kind and give a bunch of information (but also at NEFL's nest they do as well).

It was my pleasure to share my observations here in the thread with the users, that are interested. I think it was not "your fault", that it went quiet. There was a somewhat "not smoothly" (i can't find a suitable adjective in English) event in conversation and rebuke on the part of the moderation. That, at the very least, made me pull back and only post about the essential milestones of the eaglets, but without the enthusiasm i've had before. After the eaglets had fledged, i left this thread. I have made my experience and drew the consequences.

I can only talk for myself, but i "think" that after that also others maybe lost interest.
And please, before I'm misunderstood now, take into account that my English is not good enough and I write with the help of translator, which we all know, does often not take the words that are meant.

This is my opinion, i don't want to start a discussion, i will not answer and talk about anymore.

I'm sure, next season will be others, who fill the thread again with "life" :innocent:

The stream stutters a bit. But I think that will be alright soon. It is the beginning.

A scary night for our eagle family. A Great Horned Owl attacked Harriet while both adults were sleeping in the attic. We are still awaiting sighting of Harriet to insure she is OK and hope for the best!

The cam still stutters (or has gaps, stops) and to me this is annoying.
Would be a pity if it will not be working better.
