:puzzled: i fear i don't get what do you mean?
:hi:

Sorry, I thought you were expecting hatching already - it happens not earlier than after more than a month's incubation. I think the stripe is not a crack but dirt, maybe also hay or some sort of fiber.

No. I didn't expect a little head that peeks out of the egg a few days after the egg is laid. :rotf:

I worried that egg is damaged. Meanwhile i looked on their homepage, and read nothing of the sort and all is obviously ok.
Thanks anyway

From the SWFEC chat:
Mar 15, 9:05 PM
NN: Hi all in Florida, I would like to ask: do you have any knowledge of these eagles' food supply so late after their usual season, can we assume that the future two and hopefully healthy eaglets have a good possibility to start their lives even if they come later in the season?

purpleagle (Admin): Hi NN! They have a wonderful food supply all year which is why they don't migrate. They have plenty of ponds and the Caloosahatchee River as well as many small mammals ans birds ---and lots of roadkill. We will be waiting to see if it is different for these late season eaglets. We have never seen it before

SWFL - MARCH 28th

Good Morning Harriette !!

How are you and why are you hiding your jewels ??

There is a low sound of tweets or is it only my mind?

About the question of food: This is a private ranch and they are like a Royal Couple :2thumbsup:
