Looks like an eagle

the trees are getting very white, but the greenery in front of the camera seems to be dripping.

hello! :hi:
it sounds so drippingly wet today.

only few ravens are there eating...

edit: throws a pellet. thanks alice

congratulations, Fleur: here's a pellet-throwing for the first time! (as far as i remember)
i suppose it's not as frequent as poop-shooting but probably an every-day-activity still. we have many of the first recorded here already, not to mention how many at the nest, but this is the first time anyone has recorded a pellet-throwing ever! good catch!! :D

one raven is still hungry enough to eat. others either talk to each other silently or take snow baths.

there's a young-looking eagle sitting on top of the Twisted Tall on the grove. it seems to have no intention of coming down.

one pair of ravens is still working with the old carcass between the shrubs on the right bank.i think that evening sun is shining on the trees in the back...

edit: at 17.14 the last ravens are gone, too.

thank you Mutikluti for operating the camera again!

edit again at 17.17: i was wrong! :slap: there are still three ravens eating there. and some more are flying over...
