Notice the Raven at the bottom near the left -- he stayed mostly out of view there for a while.

Those two RDs look fat & healthy-- & in love, I think.

I missed them so I am especially glad that you got them.
That image from 6:53 of the two of them running along together makes me happy.

Here they are in action! A healthy, fat, happy raccoon dog pair. They were actually a bit playful.

Now I am going to go hide under the comforter for warmth. I will peek back later.

Stay warm, Alice! I will need a comforter tonight, too. Our hot spell has been broken finally by a big rainstorm in the Midwest. It only got to the low 70s F today, & only in the mid-60s the next couple of days. Much more seasonable.

The RD pair is back & headed toward the old carcass. That darker one is the female, I saw when they marked territory (urinated) earlier.

Hi, Ame. Yes, these looked good.
The raccoon dog pair ate from the old carcass, then left the area.

Not much action today, other than a pair of raccoon dogs earlier. No new food is being put out, so no eagles have arrived for several days, & the ravens only come to pull hair from old boar hides for their nests.

Goodnight / Good day, everyone. I am . Enjoy the cams today. If you want something a bit different, I have been posting about a Canada goose nest in California here viewtopic.php?p=132576#p132576 and here viewtopic.php?p=132618#p132618 , and finally, here: viewtopic.php?p=132563#p132563 It is night there now, but there is a lot of night time wildlife sounds.

I guess it then went behind some trees for a while -- hiding in the scrub of long island.

good night Kitty and Alice!
i just realized that it's the Spring Solar Equinox!
from today onwards the days will be longer than nights on our hemisphere. next weekend we'll change to summer light-saving time in Europe.
the feeding ground is sunny now but empty. a raven flew over...
