at least four eagles were seen at the feeding ground on March 6th, but again none of them landed. at least one of the eagles was an adult and one was young.Fleur wrote:

two ringed eagles were seen at the feeding ground on March 7th. besides the new one above, the eagle ringed in 2006 in Finnish Lapland with ring marking Z848 returned. this eagle was seen here earlier on Feb 17-18 and 20-21 (and possibly on 19th as well).renno wrote: Nice to see eagles on the ground again!
This Swedish N2668 is ringed year 2010 about 50 km north from Stockholm. She/he was 24th of February also in Sõrve Saaremaa island, about 175 km SW from our feeding ground. Here are some good pictures of this bird from Sõrve http://tarsiger.com/paivakirja/kuvat.ph ... sema=sorve

one had an all-red on right leg only with marking E242 maybe, with maybe 0 in the end. that's from Finnish Quarken.
the other is Estonian B490 who has been here earlier too.
EDIT (on March 11th): while i was making the summary of observed birds i realized that this was a new bird after all! it's ringed in 2009.
